What is Xylem BIM?

BIM is an internationally standardised process for the design and management of construction projects. It is a structured method of working in a digital environment to collect, manage and exchange information throughout an asset’s lifecycle (e.g. water utility plant, commercial building, industrial factory).

As the influence of BIM cascades through the construction supply chain, the ongoing requirements of Xylem’s customers are always evolving. We therefore need to provide our customers with the tools to make smarter and more informed decisions around the sustainability and suitability of Xylem products.

By digitising this process and collaborating with our customers, we help to mitigate errors earlier in the design phase and enable a more coordinated and efficient project delivery.
